As I was watching Mad Men last night, I was struck by how ugly Betty's kitchen is - although there are some cool sets in this show. I also thought it was interesting how the home has changed so much in the past 40 years. They actually used the living room, sat in it, entertained in it. The kitchen was off to the side, tucked away, hidden if possible. I see many 50s/60s homes in Atlanta that are like this, and they are hard to renovate and adapt to modern life.
Not only is it a great show, but the 60's style is quite a sight!
