I am trying to sort through my dining room and I can't keep my thoughts straight. In the meantime, I will continue to swoon over these old Cottage Living pieces. Oh! how I miss thee.
Lately I have been contemplating if I should have bookshelves built into our Great room. It would create symmetry and give me a place to store books, (of all things!) pottery, pictures and of course shells.
By purge I mean go through your belongings and weed through them sending them off to a thrift store? Not the other kind, that is so '87. (anyone remember the film Heather's)?
I am the type to rid myself of anything I don't adore at the moment only to sometimes regret the hastiness at a later date. What do you do, and how do you store the things you hang onto?
I am happy to re-discover this DIY from an old Cottage Living. I loved it then and I think I will attempt something similar. The weather is not co-operating which is so frustrating, but I'm in the mood to get Fall moving forward.
