Mirror, Mirror

As soon as we spotted this beauty from Restoration Hardware, we were scheming. Maybe we could share it. 6 months at a time and then switch. That's not so crazy that it can't be done. Hmm...

Delightful

Fabric outside. We are both big fans. The symmetry in this space, the neutral colors with a hint of more, the succulents, all fantastic.

Still More

Nautical, that is. Loved this feature in this months Elle Decor. I have to find that knot towel and isn't the coral in the glass case just fabulous!

Vacation Home

In Paris, Denmark or Italy? Any would do. Especially for a daydream. That's all it is.

The Blues

I have been interested in blue lately. I don't have any in my own home. This might be the time to change. These photos make me feel serene. Like I'm sitting near a pool. Time to dive into blues?

See For Yourself

These amazing pieces of art are pop up's and puppets, things a person never outgrows! Found at CRANKBUNNY.

Clean Slate

This would be a fantastic work studio. Its just begs to be created in. When I work on any project from dinner to a craft, I make a mess! This is just enough room and openness that the clean up might not look as daunting as it usually does. I may even be inclined to do that final step.

Flea Market Love

I love the hunt of a flea market. These are some of my favorites from here. I would never tire of these treasures. If only I could find the giant clam shell that eludes me.

Seeing Spots

You might never guess that this is an Airstream trailer perched on the roof top of the Grand Daddy Hotel in Cape Town Africa! It's one of seven. Each one done by a different designer, this isn't the only one with personality. Take a look.

Lovely

My favorite recipe from House Beautiful this month? Plant glass table top with moss, water frequently and keep in the shade.

Stay

On a recent trip to Santa Barbara with the family we stayed at the Canary, a botique hotel in the heart of downtown. It was modern, spanish style and a perfect setting. The roof top pool was a great place to lounge and view the city. Check it out when you're in the area.

Form & Function

I love to have cut flowers from the yard. Right now all of our gladiolas are in bloom so we have dozens of them in the house. They are amazing. Having a space like this specifically for the pleasant task of arranging flowers would be fantastic!

Style

This entry is amazing. I adore the herringbone floor pattern. I dream about it really. It's usually in a darker wood but this would do.

Effortless

It seems like it's been ages since we looked at a kitchen here. This one is certainly worthy of discussion. My favorite element is the table and chair selection. It's beautiful without having to try too hard.

Books

An all white bookself with those dark wood floors looks amazing and the way that the books are displayed by color, inspired!

As It Should Be

There's so much good in this room, I'm not sure where to start. How about the color palette? Grey and white, so soothing. Perfect for the bedroom. Love the framing on the walls, the bedside table and of course the best element, the king and queen crowned pillow cases!

Faux Bois

I am obsessed with faux bois furniture. I have wanted this console table for some time. Maybe I can "suggest" to my husband how happy this will make me. Regardless, I will be on the look out for faux bois anything!

Pleasantries

An outdoor fireplace would be such a strong draw to spend time in the backyard. I think we would be encouraged to sit outside late into the evening, keeping warm and enjoying conversation and a fire always seems to make conversation so much more pleasant.

Poolside

If this isn't the perfect backyard retreat! The dark pool is so sophisticated.

Mirror, mirror

I really like the menu on the mirror, it has always been a dream to have that in my own shop.

Here

I want to go here to The Paris Market and Brocante in Savannah, GA. What a cute shop in a city that has only received raves from the lucky few I know that have visited. Maybe a TTG field trip?

Linen Love

I love linen, always have. I am a true ironing pressed clothes person. Truly, I iron everything. I don't mind doing it and I appreciate the results! But linen, the wrinkled creased lines are lovely. I think it's the only time I am proud to be wrinkled and linen bedding, there's nothing like it.
